With the Sprint Cup teams taking the weekend off, the featured NASCAR race this past weekend was the Nationwide Series? NAPA Auto Parts 200 at Circuit Gilles Villenueve in Montreal, the only race in one of NASCAR?s top series contested outside the United States.

While visiting Philadelphia on Wednesday to promote the AAA 400 at Dover International Speedway on Sept. 26, Sprint Cup star Ryan Newman was treated to a unique tour that had nothing to do with cheesesteaks or the Liberty Bell.

Steve Theivagt thinks he might have been 17 years old when he gave 50 bucks to a farmer for a 1958 Ford that didn?t run. It was 1972, and Theivagt?s father, who went by Junior then, was running coupes on the weekends at Springfield Speedway at the corner of Dirksen Parkway and Clear Lake Avenue.

CONCORD, N.C. (Sept. 3, 2010) -- Roush Fenway Racing heads to Atlanta Motor Speedway looking to wrap up three slots in this season's Chase for the Sprint Cup. With that accomplishment Roush Fenway would occupy exactly one-fourth of the 12 spots that makeup the 10-race 'playoff' that will decide the 2010 Sprint Cup Champion.

MONTREAL -- Brad Keselowski knows he doesn't have that yellow rookie stripe on the back of his No. 12 Dodge anymore. Just don't blame him if he occasionally checks to make sure before he jumps behind the wheel for Roger Penske to race against the likes of Carl Edwards, Kyle Busch, Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson and the other elite drivers on NASCAR's Sprint Cup circuit. read more
