DeSoto Refuge will host a Youth Conservation Corps program this summer. Youths from Iowa and Nebraska will be drawn to participate in the program. The enrollees will work on a wide range of projects such as nature trail maintenance, litter pickup, exotic weed control and banding Canadian geese. They will also be involved in many different environmental education experiences.
