On that last point he could have been talking about the recent frictions between the two countries over Iran.

Count me surprised. I gave the United States little chance of defeating Switzerland in the first round of the 2012 Davis Cup. It wasn't necessarily because we had a terrible team. It was because of one (Swiss) man: Roger Federer.
