A 1992 Buick LeSabre sedan that was swept by flood waters into Periwinkle Creek last week was removed Monday afternoon from a 410-foot-long culvert that runs under Queen Avenue and Geary Street.

The exhaust (tail pipe) was not long enough to pass the U.K. motor test. The switch for the electric aerial failed. Dodgy trim around one of the rear quarter lights lets in rain water.
